The 1st International Workshop on Biomimicry & ThinQa Beta Launch, held on 15–16 February 2026, was hosted by Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Doha, in collaboration with Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute. The workshop focused on nature-inspired design to advance sustainable materials and innovation.

Aligned with Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), it highlighted how biological systems can support climate resilience, resource efficiency, low-carbon technologies, and ecosystem restoration, including mangrove restoration.
