Indian Iron and Steel Sector Skill Council (IISSSC) successfully conducted Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Training for the Assistant Electrician job role at NALCO, Angul, Odisha, from 1st to 4th September 2026.

The programme focused on strengthening the existing skills and knowledge of experienced workers and providing them with formal recognition through skill certification.

🦺 RPL Assessment Successfully Conducted at DSP, Durgapur!

The Indian Iron and Steel Sector Skill Council (IISSSC) successfully conducted the Assessment of 19 participants who completed Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Training for the Suraksha Saathi job role at Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), Durgapur on 5 September 2026.

The Suraksha Saathi programme focuses on strengthening awareness and practices related to industrial safety, workplace hazards, safe working procedures, and a strong safety culture in the iron and steel industry.

Through RPL, IISSSC continues to recognise existing skills and experience while supporting participants in enhancing their professional competencies and promoting safer workplaces.
