2nd Fipresci-India Film Festival-CINEMAS OF INDIA Organised by Federation of Film Societies of India Eastern Region Opened Yesterday at NANDAN-the Film Center in Kolkata, where Satyajit Ray Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Writing on Cinema 2025 was handed over to Pradip Biswas by Swapan Mullick. President of Bengal Film and Television Chamber of Commerce Firdausul Hasan felicitated Anjan Bose and Bajrang Lal Agarwal - Producers of the Bengali film 'Adamya". On this occasion Fipresci-India Members Siladitya Sen and Nirmal Dhar handed over the Citation of Satyajit Ray Award to Pradip Biswas. Atanu Ghosh, Sudeshna Roy, and Abhijit Guha felicitated the cast & crew members of the film 'Adamya'. The festival will continue at NANDAN-III till 11th June 2026.
