Inner Wheel is the second largest women's voluntary organisation in the world, having originated in 1920. The first Inner Wheel Club was formed in Manchester on 10.1.1924. In India the first club was formed in Ahmedabad in 1955. In Kolkata the first Inner Wheel Club was formed in 1961. Innner Wheel Club of Calcutta Eastland was formed on 25.2.1994.
