Community Workshop on Heatwave Awareness & Sustainable Practices | Banke Bazar, Gaya

On 5th May 2026, CEED Ranchi in collaboration with Sarv Seva Samiti (4S India) successfully inaugurated the Saifganj Library Building at Banke Bazar, Gaya by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Following the inauguration, a community consultation workshop was organized focusing on the rising heatwave challenges and possible solutions. With increasing temperatures, the frequency and intensity of heatwaves are becoming a serious concern, making awareness and preparedness more important than ever.

This consultation marked an important step towards promoting the EKAM (Samvad to Nirman) platform, encouraging dialogue and community-driven solutions.

Utthan Conclave on Regenerative Agriculture Concludes Successfully in Jehenabad 🌿

Under the guidance of DDC, DAO, ADM, PD ATMA, DDM NABARD, DPM Jeevika, and LDM, the Utthan Conclave witnessed enthusiastic participation from experts of NCNF, PRADAN, PRAN, Reliance Foundation, along with NGOs and progressive farmers from across Bihar, Jharkhand, and Jehenabad.

On 7th April 2026, women from Belgadia Township, Dhanbad met the CMD of BCCL during the successful commercial launch of their mushroom production initiative under the Jharia Master Plan—a moment that symbolised not just progress, but transformation.

What began as a pilot in February 2026 has now become a source of income, dignity, and identity. 26 resilient women are producing button, oyster, and milky mushrooms—turning hardship into opportunity, and uncertainty into self-reliance.

Their journeys speak of courage, resilience, and hope. From displacement to dignity—this is not just a livelihood story, it’s a story of reclaiming lives.
And this is only the beginning.
