The 14th AGM of Uddyom was held on 23.08.2026 at Girikunj Appartments, New Alipore, Kolkata. The meeting was in hybrid mode. Almost all members were present in online/offline mode. The Associate members, spouses, were also present. The discussions were fruitful to finalise the future roadmap of Uddyom activities. Jai Uddyom 🙏

Rabindra Jayanti 2026 was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Paarvarish. The programme featured beautiful performances by our students, including songs, dances, and poetry recitations in honour of Rabindranath Tagore and his timeless contributions to art and literature. The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where students were awarded trophies in recognition of their accomplishments and participation.

Watching the students celebrate the life and works of Tagore with passion and creativity made the event truly special, and served as a heartfelt tribute to the lasting impact of his work on generations of young minds.

Uddyom is humbled to be associated with such projects.

Scholarship for students is the "Mother" of all schemes Uddyom strives to achieve. Recently members of Uddyom had an online meeting with a Global Partner for the purpose of funding for the scheme. We are humbled to say that on "Mother's Day" our endeavour has become fruitful. We shall be able to provide Scholarship to many more candidates which we had to curtail due to shortage of funds in previous years. Gratitude to the Global provider and their Indian Counterpart. Once we are through the required process of fund transfer we shall come up with all details. Jai Uddyom🙏

26 Jan to 29 Jan 2026 (2.00 PM to 6.00 PM), Uddyom is humbled to conduct free Eye, Dental and Blood Sugar camp at RKM Vidyalaya, Narendrapur during the Annual Exhibition days. This regular activity Uddyom is doing for last 5 years. Parents, guardians, students, staff members and general public were amongst the beneficiary. A total of 423 (100 Blood Sugar check + 105 Eye patients + 218 Dental patients) patients were served.
The NRVP enclosure set for the first time in the venue added more impetus to the cause.
Special mention for Susrut Eye foundation and research center; Probe Diagnostics; Dr R Ahmed Dental College and Hospital.

"Educational scholarship" is the prime and sustained program of Uddyom, disbursed uninterruptedly since its inception. Sometimes hardships come in terms of funds to fulfill the expected requests. Still Uddyom thrives. And once you get surprised by such spontaneous expression from a beneficiary you are always motivated to stretch further. Must be the blessings of Holy Trio. Jai Uddyom 🙏
