A Day of Opportunities at Barasat
Bandhan Skills, Barasat, recently hosted a large-scale Job Drive on 25 August ,2026, bringing together young talent, leading employers and meaningful career opportunities under one roof.
The drive witnessed participation from 230+ young candidates from Bandhan Skills centres and colleges across Barasat, Habra, Thakurnagar, Barrackpore and neighbouring towns and districts, creating a vibrant platform for candidates to explore employment opportunities and engage directly with prospective employers.
The event brought together 17 reputed recruiters from diverse sectors, including Axis Bank, Bajaj Capital, Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, Airtel Payments Bank, Calibehr, Writer Information, Teleperformance, Tech Mahindra, Globiva, TATA Trent (ZUDIO), Xiaomi, Bhandari Automobiles, Labour Bridges India, Dreamwear Apparels Pvt. Ltd., Care Health Insurance Ltd., Yashaswi Group and S&IB.
With candidates being shortlisted across multiple roles, the Job Drive provided a valuable avenue for young jobseekers to translate their skills, preparation and aspirations into potential career opportunities.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence and encouragement of Mr. Suvankar Sen, District Yuva Morcha President, and Mr. Dipta Kumar Laskar, District Teachers’ Cell Convenor. Their presence added significance to the initiative and reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts towards youth employment and career development.
Bandhan Skills also acknowledges the support of the media representatives from Aajkaal Patrika, Ei Samay Digital and Nojore Bangla, whose coverage helped amplify the message of creating meaningful employment opportunities for young people.
