Bandhan’s first attempt towards development initiatives started in 2006. The organization offers an entire suite of development programs in the fields of education, health, livelihood promotion, renewable energy, market linkage, skills development, financial literacy, employment generation, financial literacy for the destitute, excluded and ultra-poor marginalised families. The development program

s are run by the not-for-profit entity of Bandhan named Bandhan Konnagar and these cater to more than 44 lakh households across 16 states.

Healthy beginnings start with informed choices.

To mark World Breastfeeding Week 2026, Project ENHANCE, a CSR initiative of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. implemented by Bandhan Konnagar, is raising awareness about breastfeeding and maternal nutrition across Sawai Madhopur and Tonk, Rajasthan as part of its ongoing commitment to ensure that every child in the community receives a healthier and more sustainable start in life.

Throughout August, the campaign is engaging communities through focus group discussions, awareness sessions and block-level seminars. Two seminars have already been held in Sawai Madhopur district, bringing together government officials, frontline workers and community stakeholders to drive awareness and collective action.

So far, the campaign has reached 2,039 beneficiaries through 257 Focus Group Discussions. By the end of the month, Project ENHANCE is expected to engage nearly 5,200 beneficiaries through 850 discussions. Thus, supporting healthier starts, one conversation at a time.
