Development Action Society (DAS) We believe in a world where every human being enjoys equal rights and opportunities in order to lead a healthy and creative life with dignity and self-respect.

Development Action Society (DAS) was established in 1989 with the aim of improving the lives of some of Kolkata's most vulnerable women and children in the peri-urban population of south and southeast Kolkata and 24 Parganas (South). These aims are achieved by working in the following areas:
-Education
-Health
-Livelihood/ Women Empowerment
-Children's Protection
