SARBABHARATIYA SANGEET -O- SANSKRITI PARISHAD, the largest and most renowned cultural examination board in India, stands as a prestigious institution dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Indian performing arts. In the year 1976 a few like-minded people started to think to set up a platform to propagate, foster and preserve traditional forms of Indian Art & Culture as they cou
ld perceive that these were being slowly wiped out by the apparent grandeurous but dangerous inflow of westernised culture amongst the people of the Indian Society through all powerful Electronic Media. This thinking took a shape and ultimately started to function in the name and style SARBABHARATIYA SANGEET -O- SANSKRITI PARISHAD (SSSP) since 23rd January 1976 from a rented house at Jadu Mitra Lane, Kolkata, subsequently shifted to Ramratan Basu Road, Kolkata. Since then, it started affiliating Training Centres in different parts of India where the student were being tutored in various streams of Indian Art and Culture.
