Salt Lake Toastmaster is a unit of Toastmasters International. This club is a community club in the City of Joy, Kolkata. It has traversed a wonderful path of turning ordinary mortals into great public speakers and leaders. We at SLTM, help each other explore their hidden talent and rise to their potential and help become a Competent Communicator and Leader. We share a unique bond of friendship, making it a club of fellowship, rather than just a public speaking skill development forum.

When freedom rings, every voice finds its power. 🇮🇳🎙️
Independence is more than a historical milestone—it is the freedom to think, to express, and to stand confidently before an audience. As India celebrates another year of independence, we gather to reflect on what it truly means to be free in our thoughts and speech.
Join us for a special Independence Day themed meeting where stories of liberty unfold, ideas break barriers, and every speech echoes the spirit of a sovereign nation.

Two speakers. Two first steps. Two stories waiting to unfold. 🎤✨

At Meeting #840, we’re cheering on Ratish Dixit and Pawan Jaiswal as they take the stage for their Level 1, Project 1: The Icebreaker.

The Icebreaker is where every Toastmasters journey begins: a few minutes, a room full of listeners, and the courage to say, “Here’s who I am.”

Come be part of their beginning, and maybe leave thinking about what story you would tell first.
