Pahchan Foundation Pahchan Foundation, Youth led an independent Organization to protect children and youths rights.

Pahchan Foundation working for the children and their betterment, it works to eradicate hunger, child labour, child abuse, child marriage, environment pollution, domestic violence and to improve gender equality, health care and sanitation etc. The journey begins with the children from marginalized community. To make the community self resistant to raise their own voice as responsible citizen and community young leaders will take the leadership to make this happen.

Volunteers of our organization achieved a remarkable milestone by collecting almost 400 kg of garbage as part of our cleanup drive at Peer Ghat. This effort was undertaken to contribute to the protection and preservation of the sacred Ganga River. On this occasion, we would like to earnestly request the administration to take significant steps towards safeguarding the river. It is imperative to implement long-term measures and launch awareness campaigns to educate people about the ecological, cultural, and spiritual importance of the Ganga. We once again appeal to the authorities to prioritize initiatives for waste management, recycling, and community education to ensure the Ganga remains a source of life and prosperity for generations to come.

On 16th August 2026, volunteers from Titagarh and Kamarhati came together for Tiranga Uthao, an initiative by Pahchan Foundation to ensure that our National Flag is always treated with dignity and respect. Our volunteers collected discarded Tricolours from streets, public spaces and surrounding areas and ensured their respectful disposal.

The Tiranga is a symbol of our freedom, unity and national pride. Let us celebrate Independence not only with pride, but also with responsibility.

A heartfelt thanks to all our volunteers for making this initiative meaningful.

A New Beginning on the Eve of the 80th Independence Day

Pahchan Foundation is proud to announce the formal inauguration of our Judo & Martial Arts Training Centre at Gowal Para, Titagarh, on the eve of the 80th Independence Day of India. The centre, operating under the Judo Association of North 24 Parganas District aims to provide children and young learners with an opportunity to develop discipline, confidence, physical fitness and self-defence skills through Judo and Martial Arts.

This initiative is another step towards empowering children through sports, discipline and skill development, while nurturing a healthier and more confident generation. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Coach Hari Sir, the Judo Association of North 24 Parganas District, our volunteers, supporters and the community for helping us make this new beginning possible.

Let us celebrate freedom by empowering our children with strength, confidence and opportunity.

80th Independence Day Celebration
Drawing Competition & Awareness Programme

On the occasion of Indiaโ€™s 80th Independence Day, Pahchan Foundation organised a special Drawing Competition and Awareness Programme at the Kamarhati Police Station compound. The programme was led by the dedicated volunteers and team members of Pahchan Foundation โ€“ Kamarhati Team, bringing together around 65 students and 30+ guardians who participated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The children expressed their creativity while spreading awareness on important themes:

Say No to Drugs
Cyber Crime
Good Touch & Bad Touch

The celebration was not only a tribute to 80 years of Indiaโ€™s Independence, but also an effort to empower children with awareness, knowledge and a sense of responsibility towards building a safer and stronger society. Our heartfelt thanks to officer-in-charge Mr. Apurba Mondal and all the police officers of Kamarhati Police Station for their valuable collaboration, cooperation and generous support in making this Independence Day initiative a meaningful and successful one.

A special appreciation to all the students, guardians, volunteers and team members for their enthusiastic participation and contribution.
