The goals of this non-profit organization are the need to identify the area of activity and raise fund through various channels. Apart from contributions received in way of entrance fee, membership fee and donations, the first such venture was to organise an “Anandamela” in Niranjan Sadan during the middle of the month of August 2009. This was inaugurated by renowned social worker Sm. Bharati Gang
uly and renowned cricket personality Sm. Srirupa Mukherjee. The next venture was to organise a theatrical show. This was achieved in the month of December 2009 at a South Kolkata hall by staging “Atmakatha”, directed and acted by Shri Soumitra Chatterjee, a renowned actor, with kind assistance of the owner of the hall, Shri Samar Mitra. The third venture was to participate in an exhibition organised by All India Women’s Conference (AIWC), Lake Gardens Branch. Another Anandamela named “Anandamela-II” was organised during the month of April 2010.
