Banipur Sahayog has organized a 36-days Tailoring Training Workshop at the premises of Satsole Kiranmoyee H.S Vidyalaya, at Pashchim Medinipur, with the support of Bharatiya Reserve Bank of Note Mudran Private Limited. Total 30 tribal and economically disadvantaged women participated in the workshop.
The training commenced on 10th October,2025, and concluded on 18th December,2025. During the 36-days workshop, participants were trained in the operation of foot-operated sewing machines, various sewing techniques, cutting, stitching and finishing of different garments. Each participant successfully learned to make petticoat and nightgown (nighty) independently on her own.
As all participants demonstrated their skills and capabilities effectively, each of them was gifted a Singer Branded foot-operated sewing machine to support their future income-generating plans.
