We spend hours online every day—scrolling, talking to friends, banking, working. But behind those screen glows, a quick wrong click or a suspicious link can disrupt everything we’ve built. Cybercrime isn't just a technical topic; it’s a personal one that affects our safety, privacy, and peace of mind.
To help us navigate and protect our digital lives, bondhu and Anwesha Kolkata are coming together to host an interactive awareness session on Cyber Crime.
Join us as Mr. Ranjan Chakraborty (SI, CS & CSS, CCB, DD - Kolkata Police) shares practical knowledge on how to recognize online threats and defend your virtual space.
To make this session accessible to everyone, Indian Sign Language (ISL) interpretation and live Voice-to-Text translation will be available.

প্রতিদিন আমাদের অনেকটা সময় কাটে ভার্চুয়াল জগতে—ভালোবাসার মানুষের সাথে যোগাযোগ, ব্যাংকিং, কাজ কিংবা শুধুই স্ক্রোল করা। কিন্তু একটি অসাবধান ক্লিক বা কোনো সন্দেহজনক লিঙ্ক মুহূর্তে কেড়ে নিতে পারে আমাদের নিরাপত্তা ও মানসিক শান্তি। সাইবার অপরাধ শুধু কোনো প্রযুক্তিগত বিষয় নয়, এটি আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনের নিরাপত্তার সাথে সরাসরি যুক্ত।
অনলাইন দুনিয়ায় নিজেদের নিরাপদ রাখতে এবং ডিজিটাল মাধ্যমকে সঠিকভাবে বুঝতে ‘বন্ধু’ (bondhu) ও ‘অন্বেষা কলকাতা’ (Anwesha Kolkata) আয়োজন করতে চলেছে এক বিশেষ সচেতনতামূলক আলোচনা সভা।
আমাদের সাথে উপস্থিত থাকছেন শ্রী রঞ্জন চক্রবর্তী (SI, CS & CSS, CCB, DD - কলকাতা পুলিশ)। সাইবার ঝুঁকি চেনা এবং অনলাইনে নিজেকে সুরক্ষিত রাখার কৌশল নিয়ে তিনি আলোচনা করবেন।
অনুষ্ঠানটি যাতে সকলের কাছে সহজবোধ্য হয়, তার জন্য থাকছে ইন্ডিয়ান সাইন ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ (ISL) অনুবাদ এবং লাইভ ভয়েস-টু-টেক্সট ট্রান্সক্রিপশনের সুবিধা।

People often say 'Bondhu' means friend, but today it felt like so much more. In the middle of all the running and the laughter, we saw something beautiful: a group of people who carry the weight of the world together, finally letting go; just being present and doing something fun! Our work is often heavy, but today, our hearts were light. We're more than BONDHU, we're a heartbeat!

An outdoor Life Skills Training Programme for deaf young adults of Bondhu Group Organisation is being organised at Jhalong, Kalimpong (North Bengal) from 22–25 January 2026.

The programme aims to build confidence, independence, and teamwork through experiential learning in nature. We look forward to a meaningful and enriching experience for all participants.@

On 30th November, Bondhu had the joy of participating in a one-day Christmas Bazaar filled with warmth, color, and festive spirit. Our table was stocked with a variety of Christmas-themed products, and we were thrilled to see how much our customers loved them. Their satisfaction, excitement, and support made all our efforts worthwhile.

As Bondhu members, we genuinely enjoyed every moment—meeting new people, sharing stories, and soaking in the holiday cheer around us. The atmosphere was lively and full of positivity, making the entire experience memorable and uplifting.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who stopped by, appreciated our work, and helped make this event such a success. We’re grateful for the encouragement and the wonderful community around us. Here’s to spreading more joy this holiday season! 🎄🎁

গত ৩০শে নভেম্বর, 'বন্ধু' (Bondhu)-এর সদস্যরা উষ্ণতা, রং এবং উৎসবের আমেজে ভরা একটি দিনব্যাপী বড়দিনের বাজারে অংশগ্রহণ করার আনন্দ উপভোগ করেছে। আমাদের টেবিলটি নানা ধরনের বড়দিন-কেন্দ্রিক পণ্য দিয়ে সাজানো ছিল, এবং আমাদের ক্রেতারা সেগুলোকে এতটা পছন্দ করেছেন দেখে আমরা অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত হয়েছি। তাঁদের সন্তুষ্টি, উৎসাহ এবং সমর্থন আমাদের সমস্ত প্রচেষ্টাকে সার্থক করে তুলেছে।
'বন্ধু'-এর সদস্য হিসেবে, আমরা প্রতিটি মুহূর্তকে মন ভরে উপভোগ করেছি—নতুন মানুষের সাথে দেখা করা, গল্প করা এবং চারপাশে ছড়িয়ে থাকা ছুটির দিনের উল্লাসে মেতে ওঠা। পরিবেশটি ছিল প্রাণবন্ত এবং ইতিবাচকতায় পরিপূর্ণ, যা পুরো অভিজ্ঞতাটিকে স্মরণীয় ও অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক করে তুলেছে।
যারা আমাদের স্টলে এসেছিলেন, আমাদের কাজের প্রশংসা করেছেন এবং এই অনুষ্ঠানটিকে এমন সফল করতে সাহায্য করেছেন, তাঁদের সকলকে জানাই আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ। আমরা আপনাদের উৎসাহ এবং আমাদের চারপাশের চমৎকার এই সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য কৃতজ্ঞ। এই ছুটির মরসুমে আরও বেশি আনন্দ ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে আমরা এগিয়ে চলব!
