rth. Since 1991 Tomorrow's Foundation has brought smiles on hundreds of little faces through its various programs by providing educational support, health care, psychological counseling and rehabilitation of street children. We support children from the most underprivileged backgrounds to become self-reliant and enjoy their right to a dignified life. All our children are supported until they complete their education (in some cases courses like engineering and medical) and placed in a suitable job. In 1999 UNESCO declared Tomorrow's Foundation as a model organisation in West Bengal.

This World Water Day, we're celebrating water as it should be: clean, accessible, and life-giving.

At Tomorrow's Foundation, we're working across West Bengal to tackle the water crisis through filtration systems, rainwater conservation, groundwater restoration, and community training. We're installing water solutions in schools, building HAPA ponds with farmers, and teaching climate-smart agriculture that helps communities adapt and thrive. Families are growing crops year round. Children are staying in school with access to safe drinking water. Communities are building sustainable futures.

Clean water isn't just about survival. It's about opportunity, dignity, and hope.

Clean water changes everything.

Empowering adolescents is not optional, it’s an essential investment in both people and the planet.

For over 10 years Tomorrow’s Foundation has been implementing urban and rural adolescent empowerment programmes that combines confidence building, life skills, and employable skill training aligned with the emerging green economy. By equipping young people with future ready skills, the programmes support sustainable livelihoods while preparing adolescents to participate meaningfully in a greener, more resilient economy.

Innovation in the social sector is often celebrated—but rarely funded in the way it actually needs. Bold, community led ideas require trust, flexibility, and the freedom to experiment and sometimes to fail. If we want lasting impact, we must move beyond rigid project funding and start supporting learning, adaptation, and risk. The question for funders and sector leaders is no longer whether innovation matters, but how we create the conditions for it to endure.

We invite partnerships for our rural education initiative, which focuses on examining the operational and instructional complexities involved in the transition from early childhood to primary education. This work is grounded in the principles of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy and is designed for children ages 3 to 8.
