On May 3, Auxilium Parish in Gobra was filled with a wonderful sense of community as we gathered for a grand combined celebration of Women’s Day and Mother’s Day.
The day began with a solemn Holy Eucharist presided over by Parish Priest Fr. E. J. Anthony, featuring a beautiful multilingual liturgy that truly reflected our parish’s unity. A major highlight was the felicitation of seven "Inspirational Ladies" whose years of selfless service have touched so many lives.
From the moving testimonies shared by Sr. Margaret Ghosh FMA, Mrs. Rina Topno, Mrs. Sandhya Gomes, Mrs. Charmaine Bajaj, Mrs. Anna Sarkar, Mrs. Lucy Lin, and Mrs. Bharati Das, to a creative "Religious Fashion Show" portraying biblical figures and saints, the energy was incredible. Between the cultural performances and a shared fellowship meal, the day perfectly captured our themes of "Give to Gain" and "Strength, Love, and Sacrifice." It was a beautiful reminder of the dignity and vital role of women in our lives and our faith.

From Kolkata to Kochi! ⚽️✨

We are thrilled to announce that Simon Lepcha from the Salesian Province of Kolkata has been selected for the Don Bosco Football Academy (DBFA) Vaduthala team for the 2025-2026 season! 🏆

As a 2-star AIFF accredited academy with a 60+ year legacy, DBFA is the perfect stage for Simon to showcase his skills on a national level. Joining the "Football Nursery" in Kochi means balancing elite training with academic excellence. We can’t wait to see what he achieves on the pitch! 🏟️

The countdown is on! ⚽️

The All India Inter-Province Football Championship (U-17) is making its debut at Don Bosco Vaduthala, Kochi, from April 28–29.

After weeks of intensive training at Don Bosco Azimganj following the Easter break, the Salesian Province of Kolkata (INC) team is officially ready for kickoff. Led by Fr. Bijoy Ghosh, Fr. Teleshphore Bilung, and Fr. Manoj Hasda, our boys are geared up to represent the province with pride and skill.

They will face off against talent from across the country, with Shillong, New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, Trichy, and Dimapur already confirmed in the lineup.

Safe travels to our squad as they head to Kerala! A massive thank you to all our benefactors whose support turned this dream into a reality. Let’s bring it home! 🏆

Divine Mercy Sunday is a reminder that there is no shadow your past can cast that His light cannot reach. Jesus told St. Faustina, "The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy" (Diary 723).

Your struggle isn’t a barrier; it’s an invitation to the fountain. ⛲️

✨ "Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy." (Diary 699)

Stop trying to fix yourself before you come to Him. Just come as you are and say: Jesus, I trust in You.
