GARIA Welfare Society The functions and objects of the society shall always remain restricted within the meaning of the Section 4(2) of the West Bengal Society Reg Act 1961.

The main objects of the GARIA WELFARE SOCIETY is :-

1) To acquire, establish, start, aid, run, maintain or manage primary schools, libraries, charitable hospitals for the benefit of the public.

2) To arrange and organize lectures, debates, discussions, seminars & executions for the diffusion of knowledge.

3) To publish or cause to be published useful literature, papers, magazines, books etc

.

4) To study, cultivate and demonstrate the art of music and dancing.

5) To promote and encourage advancement of literary, cultural political, religious, scientific and technical education.

6) To help the needy students of all communities for the prosecution of studies.

7) To collect and preserve manuscripts, painting sculptures, works of art antiquities, natural history specimens, mechanical and scientific instruments and designs.

8) To help the aged, sick, helpless and indigent persons.

9) To alleviate the sufferings of animals or other living creatures as may be deemed appropriate.

10) To engaged and assist in such other philanthropic activities as may be deemed appropriate by the Governing Body of the society.

Cervical cancer vaccination at Haltu School

Today (18/3/26) Garia Welfare Society organised a Cervical cancer vaccination program in collaboration with Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI)at Haltu Arya Balika Vidyalaya where 39 girls were vaccinated as 2nd dose.Some pics are from the program.On behalf of GWS Bratakalyan Bhattacharjee & Shweta Subhra Naskar attended the program.
