We are the representative society of the B.Com Department of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. The Xavier’s Commerce Society was formed with the motto “Dreams.

The Xavier’s Commerce Society is the representative society of the Department of Commerce of St. The society strives for the progress and intellectual mastery of every undergraduate commerce student within the college. The society by organizing holistic events throughout the academic year ensures that every student is taught critical lessons before stepping into the Corporate World. Development. Destiny.” in March 2006. Dreams symbolize the aspirations and desires of a person. The society encourages everyone to dream big and helps them to strengthen their abilities so as to enable them to give flight to their dreams and fulfill their desires. Development stands for the process of gradual advancement from the stage of aspiration to the stage of achievement of one’s dreams. XCS helps its members to develop useful skills which they will require to accomplish their goals in the corporate sector. Destiny refers to the fate of a person’s life. At XCS, we believe that a person’s destiny is not predetermined but it is in his hands to shape his future. XCS strives to develop certain traits in its members which will help them convert their dreams into destiny.

Youthink, the annual journal of the Department of Commerce bearing the ISSN ID [2347-6222], now enters its twenty-first year of publication. Over the years, it has evolved into a space where curiosity meets expression, bringing together research, perspectives, and creativity from diverse voices. Each volume reflects the spirit of inquiry that encourages us to question, explore, and see familiar ideas through new lenses.

The Editorial Board is delighted to announce the launch of the Exposition for Youthink Volume XXI. The Xavier's Commerce Society acknowledges the invaluable contributions of Father Principal Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ, Father Vice Principal (B.Com Morning), Rev. Dr. Joseph Kulandai, SJ, and Father Vice Principal (B.Com Evening), Rev. Dr. Peter Arockiam Arul, SJ, alongside Deans Dr. Amitava Roy and Dr. Soheli Ghosh, Dr. Anulekha Banerjee, Youthink Managing Editor Dr. Sumona Ghosh, and the esteemed Department of Commerce. Their steadfast support has been vital in guiding us through challenges and achieving new heights.
