On the occasion of Independence Day, the Darua Institute organized a 'Pass the Pillow' game and a quiz competition. Prizes were awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners to boost the children's morale. Additionally, students who completed courses in Mehendi and stitching were encouraged with certificates and gifts. This NGO is located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, and offers classes free of cost.

We offer free Mehendi classes here; we are currently conducting our ninth batch, and another one will start after this. We teach girls who had to drop out of school due to financial constraints. The hope is that, in the future, they will earn their own income and be able to send their children to good schools—our vision is for a better future for all of them.
