From Nadaun to Dubai- Some journeys remind us why Building a Skills-First India matters.

We are incredibly proud of Kanika, Priyanka, Mohit and Nikhil, four students of Government Degree College, Nadaun, Himachal Pradesh, whose journey towards international careers has been supported by Medhavi Foundation as the Skilling Partner, transforming their aspirations into career opportunities in Dubai, UAE.

Their achievement became an especially proud moment when the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, felicitated and congratulated the four students, celebrating their success and recognizing the opportunities created through skill-based education.

Coming from modest backgrounds and, in several cases, Hindi-medium schooling, their journeys are a powerful reminder that talent is everywhere. What young people need is opportunity, the right skills and the confidence to step into the world of work.
Through the B.Voc programmes offered by Government Degree College, Nadaun, with Medhavi Foundation as the Skilling
Partner, the students received practical, industry-oriented learning, On-the-Job Training, industry exposure, career guidance and placement support.

Mohit has been placed in NESTO, Dubai, Kanika and Priyanka in Safari Hypermarket, Dubai and Nikhil in Americana Restaurants, Dubai. From the classrooms of Nadaun to the workplaces of Dubai, this is more than a placement story.

For Medhavi Foundation, it is also a powerful affirmation of what can happen when education meets practical skills, industry exposure and real employment pathways.

मेरे विधानसभा क्षेत्र नादौन के सिद्धार्थ राजकीय महाविद्यालय में B.Voc की पढ़ाई कर रहे विद्यार्थियों- कनिका, प्रियंका, मोहित और निखिल- का हाल ही में दुबई में प्लेसमेंट होना बेहद खुशी की बात है।

बच्चों ने बताया कि महाविद्यालय में शुरू किए गए B.Voc पाठ्यक्रम ने उन्हें अपने हुनर को निखारने और आगे बढ़ने के बेहतर अवसर दिए। उन्होंने इसके लिए राज्य सरकार के प्रति आभार भी व्यक्त किया।

A Proud Milestone in the Journey of Success!

8 trainees from our Jalpaiguri Centre under the Utkarsh Bangla Project were felicitated by the State Authority at the Rozgar Mela in Jalpaiguri, organised by the Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development (PBSSD), for successfully transitioning from skill training to employment as Data Entry Operators and DTP Operators.

This recognition celebrates their dedication, perseverance, and the transformative impact of quality skill development in creating meaningful career opportunities and empowering futures.
