🗣️ Every voice has value, yet for millions who stutter, speaking can feel challenging and isolating. Today, on International Stuttering Awareness Day, we raise awareness and promote understanding.

1️⃣ What stuttering is: Stuttering is a speech disorder that causes repetitions, pauses, or blocks in speech. It is not a reflection of intelligence or ability—just a different way of speaking.

2️⃣ How common it is: Around 1% of the world’s population stutters, often starting in childhood and sometimes continuing into adulthood.

3️⃣ Mental health impact: Stuttering can affect confidence, social interactions, and mental health. People who stutter may experience anxiety, stress, or social withdrawal. 🧠💔

4️⃣ Tips to support:
✨ Listen patiently without interrupting or finishing sentences.
✨ Create safe and understanding environments at home, school, and work.
✨ Encourage early help through speech therapy, counseling, and peer support.

Every voice matters. Awareness, empathy, and support can make a real difference. 🌿💬

Mental Health Matters — Not Just Today, But Every Day.

Mental health is not a distant concept. It’s not only for those who are struggling visibly, and it’s not something that can wait until “later.” Every one of us experiences moments of anxiety, stress, sadness, or overwhelm. And yet, the conversation around mental health often remains quiet, hesitant, or misunderstood.

Awareness is the first step toward change. Did you know that 1 in 4 people experiences a mental health challenge each year? Yet, the majority of these individuals never receive the understanding or support they need. Stigma, misconceptions, and lack of safe spaces prevent people from reaching out.

This is why talking, listening, and noticing matter. A simple check-in with a friend, colleague, or family member can make an enormous difference. Asking “How are you, really?” and giving space for honest responses is sometimes more powerful than any advice. Small acts of empathy—sending a message, sharing resources, or just being present—can ripple outward and create a culture where mental health is visible, supported, and respected.

Today, we encourage you to:
• Educate yourself about the signs of stress, depression, and anxiety.
• Check in on someone you care about—not to fix, but to listen.
• Normalize conversations about mental health in your home, workplace, and community.

Because mental health is not a topic for one day. It is a responsibility, a conversation, and a commitment that we all share. Every small effort contributes to a world where no one has to struggle in silence.

🧠 Let’s make awareness louder than stigma. Share this post, start a conversation, and remind someone today that they are not alone.
