It is a moment of immense pride and honour for the Sakal Jain Samaj that the Government of West Bengal has granted approval for the inauguration of the Jain Manas Stambh at Roy Street, Bhawanipore. We are also delighted to share that the adjoining chowk will be officially named Mahavir Chowk — a landmark recognition for our community.
It is almost finalised that on 25th February 2026 at 3:00 PM, in the esteemed presence of our Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the Jain Manas Stambh will be formally inaugurated.
This marks a truly historic occasion for the Sakal Jain Samaj — a proud moment when our collective efforts have earned distinguished recognition from the Government of West Bengal.
We earnestly request all members of the Jain Samaj to graciously remain present on the above date and time to commemorate this significant milestone, reflecting our unity, pride, and brotherhood.
