For many years, we have been continuously working on Education and Employability initiatives to create better learning opportunities, life skills, and brighter futures for children and youth. Along with continuing these efforts, we are now also focusing strongly on Environment and Sustainability, believing that a better future is only possible when both people and the planet grow together.
Taking our first step towards environmental sustainability, we organised a training session on organic farming at our Knowledge Village, the primary campus of our MSVR Mission Academy, Gangatikuri. More than 150 farmers participated in the session and gained valuable knowledge from the honourable Rafik Ul Islam, who shared his experience and insights on organic farming practices. In today’s world, where global warming and climate change are increasing rapidly, promoting organic and chemical free farming has become extremely important for protecting nature and building climate resilience. This initiative also reflects our commitment towards SDG 13 Climate Action and SDG 15 Life on Land.
As part of the programme, mango and guava saplings were distributed among the farmers with the message of reducing global warming and creating a greener Earth for future generations. Every tree planted today is a step towards cleaner air, environmental protection, and a sustainable tomorrow. Together, we also took an oath to nurture these trees with love and care as members of our own family. We sincerely thank our farmer friends and Rafik Ul Islam Sir for his beautiful interactive session that making this meaningful initiative a step ahead of success.
