✨ POSHAN MELA 2026 | COMMUNITY COOKING SESSION ✨

At New Light, we believe that good nutrition begins with care, participation, and community.

As part of Poshan Mela 2026, we are bringing together 12 mothers for a special community cooking session, where they will come together to prepare a healthy and nutritious meal for our children. 💚

📅 Date: 3 October 2026
⏰ Time: 01:00 P.M
📍 Venue: New Light Centre, 162 Kalighat Road, Kolkata – 700026

👩‍🍳 Community Cooking Session

The mothers will work together in four groups to prepare a wholesome menu:

🌾 Vegetable Dalia
🥕 Vegetable Poha
🥚 Mixed Vegetable Egg Stew
🌯 Mixed Vegetable Chapati Roll

All the raw materials and cooking essentials will be provided by New Light.

The freshly prepared meal will then be served as a healthy lunch to the children of New Light and Jhinuk Play School.

Through Poshan Mela, we celebrate not only nutritious food but also the strength of mothers, the joy of coming together, and the importance of building healthier communities—one meal at a time. 🌱❤️

A Senior Manager at Reliance Industries in Mumbai, he laced up for the first time in January 2023. Since then, running has become his practice in resilience, discipline and purpose.
Now he's running the Tata Steel World 25K. Not for the finish line, but for every child who deserves a safe childhood.

A valued and joyful colleague Ananya will be remembered with love and appreciation always. Ananya leaves behind her son and husband in irreparable loss. Rest in peace dear 😞🙏🏽♥️💐
