was invited to participate at the State level deliberations on formalizing government run crèche services in West Bengal organized by West Bengal Forum For Creche Services , ( FORCES ) a part of the national FORCES .
The inputs from other dignitaries from Trade Unions and various peoples’ forum contributed in spirit of the overarching agenda of formalization of creche services nationwide. stands in solidarity with all other participating organizations and agencies to demand a holistic service set up for children between zero to sx to genuinely empower millions and f women works bg in the unorganised labour sector.

warmly welcomed forty students from the Department of Social Work , Women’s College Shillong , Meghalaya during their visit. The students came to get an understanding of how local organizations work and get an orientation of grassroots organization like . We thank faculty member Justine K Periong for selecting as a partner organization. The students spent hours visiting the community and getting a first hand experience of community engagement.

The closing of the event also witnessed some of the students and the mothers from the community walking the garden ramp! A heartfelt thank you to Pinesh Roy, marathon runner and husband of Paveli Roy, for running with purpose and heart 🏃‍♂️💙

Pinesh proudly completed the Tata Steel 25K 2025 in an impressive 2 hours and 8 minutes, wearing the New Light Kolkata logo and helping Impact360 promote New Light as a social impact partner.

On the 3rd, Pinesh and Paveli also visited Khela Ghar, accompanied by their high-school-aged son Pablo Roy, an aspiring photographer whose curiosity and creativity truly inspired us 📸✨

Thank you for standing with New Light Kolkata, for running beyond the finish line, and for showing how sport, family, and social impact can come together to create meaningful change.
