A Historic Joint Celebration: VSSS & Sindhi Punjabi Panchayat Kolkata Unite for “The Summer Camp”

In a heartwarming display of unity and celebration, Vishwa Sindhi Sewa Sangam (VSSS) and Sindhi Punjabi Panchayat (Kolkata) came together for the first time ever to host a grand community event — “The Summer Camp” — held on Sunday, 22nd June 2025, at 4:00 PM, at the vibrant Apsara Club, Kolkata.

This landmark event, proudly hosted by Taaza TV, marked a new chapter of collaboration and camaraderie between the two esteemed organisations, celebrating culture, creativity, and community spirit.

“Pahinja Parawa” – A Heartwarming Sindhi Play

Sindhi Punjabi Panchayat, Kolkata expresses heartfelt gratitude to the SKR (Sindhi Khush Rahan) Group for gifting our community a truly special evening on Sunday, 4th May at Gyan Manch.

The Sindhi play “Pahinja Parawa”, written and directed by Paayall Barwani, was a moving portrayal of how strong family bonds help us overcome life’s toughest challenges. Laced with moments of light-hearted comedy, it kept the audience engaged and deeply touched.

What made it even more remarkable was the dedication of the SKR members, who not only organised the event but also took the stage as actors, embodying the spirit of Sindhiyat with passion and pride.

Our sincere thanks to SKR, the BSS Group, all participants, guests, and the enthusiastic audience for making this evening a memorable celebration of our rich culture.

Heartfelt Appreciation

A big thank you to all our esteemed members of Sindhi Punjabi Panchayat Kolkata for making the 73rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) a resounding success!

Kudos to both the outgoing and incoming teams for coming together and organising the event with such grace and unity.

Highlights of the AGM:
• Prashasti Patra trophies were distributed, sent by Akhil Bharat Sindhi Punjabi Panchayat Welfare Association (ABSPPWA).
• The new team was officially announced by our Election Commissioner, Mr. Satish Raghani.
• As a heartfelt shradhanjali, sarees were presented to the spouses of our deceased members, honouring the legacy of our beloved departed souls.
• Post AGM, members enjoyed live music and lunch, celebrating the spirit of togetherness.

**🌟 Proud Moment for Sindhi Punjabi Panchayat Kolkata 🌟**

We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievement of **Harsh Tolani**, son of Prakash Tolani & Neha Tolani, and grandson of Late Chimandas Tolani & Late Hari Chimandas Tolani, as well as Late Tulsidas Bachani & Late Shakuntala Bachani. Harsh has secured the **2nd rank in CODE MANIA**, held at Christ University Delhi NCR on 7th September 2024.

In recognition of this remarkable accomplishment, Sindhi Panchayat, in collaboration with Sindhi Charitable Trust, felicitated Harsh’s achievement on 24th September. His proud mother graciously accepted the award on his behalf.
