Toay, Haridevpur Nirvriti Foundation had the immense privilege of organizing a special interactive workshop: "Fossils and Environment" for the wonderful children of the SAMPARC Orphanage. 🌍🦕

The event was conducted by the brilliant team at তোমাকে শুনব, প্রাচীন পৃথিবী । Hello, Prehistoric World, featuring insightful sessions by Dr. Sayoni Banerjee and Mr. Soham Das.

Hands-on History: The children got a rare chance to see and touch real fossil samples!

Creativity Unleashed: Inspired by the past, the participants drew beautiful pictures and wrote incredible stories.

Learning Together: We explored the deep connection between our planet's history and the environment we need to protect today.

✨ Empowering Hearts, Inspiring Lives: A Day of Hope at Apna Ghar ✨

At Haridevpur Nirvriti Foundation, we believe that empowerment is about lifting each other up, especially during life’s most challenging chapters. 🌸

Recently, we received a heartwarming invitation from Apna Ghar Transit Home - II (A project of INTAS Foundation) to bring joy, resilience, and support to the incredible women cancer patients and caregivers staying at their facility. We knew we had to make it unforgettable!
Together, we turned an afternoon into a celebration of strength, dignity, and beautiful new beginnings. Here’s a glimpse into the magical day:

💡 Turning Passion into Independent Futures

We were deeply honored to have Ms. Mitali Sengupta, the creative force behind Artlicious Shop, as our Guest of Honour. She delivered an incredibly inspiring session on home-based business prospects. From practical steps to creative ideas, she showed these brave women how they can channel their talents into entrepreneurship right from home, sparked by hope and self-reliance.

🎭 Healing Through Expression

Our President, Mr. Partha Mukherjee, touched everyone’s hearts with a profound discussion on emotional well-being. He shared how performing arts can serve as a powerful medium to vent out suppressed feelings, find release, and heal emotionally during difficult times. The room was filled with smiles, shared warmth, and an overwhelming sense of relief.

💝 A Gesture of Love and Dignity
To wrap up this beautiful day, and in response to Apna Ghar's heartfelt request, we distributed brand-new sarees to the female patients and caregivers. Seeing their faces light up with joy and a sense of belonging was the ultimate reward. A simple saree, but wrapped in infinite love and respect.

In the month of March 2026, our organization embarked on a mission to care for our furry friends in Santoshpur 🐾. This special drive was dedicated to ensuring that the local street dogs were well-fed and looked after.

This initiative was guided by the incredible Mr. Shankar, a true helping hand who religiously feeds these animals every single day. His unwavering commitment and devotion to these voiceless souls are an inspiration to us all 💖.
We are proud to support his daily efforts, which are made possible through the kindness of various donors. For those who wish to contribute or join this cause, please feel free to contact him through us to help sustain this noble act.

This heartwarming initiative was made possible through the generous Social Welfare Project initiated by Jayati Mukherjee in loving memory of Kamal Banerjee & Bina Banerjee, utilizing inherited property to ensure that every living soul—whether human or animal—feels the warmth of care and support. ❤️

Under the theme "Empowering Beauty: A Path to Dignity and Opportunity," we explored how self-worth and professional grooming can open doors to a brighter, more independent future.

We were beyond honored to have the incredibly talented, versatile, and beloved actor and performer, Arijita Mukhopadhyay, as our keynote speaker.
