Screening of Raam Ke Naam in Ram Rajya!
In times, when forces that use religion as a tool to divide the people, come to power, we must remind ourselves of the historical outcome of such divisions on this piece of land. The outcome is a subcontinent of diverse cultures, religion and language filled with hate for one another so that our rulers can continue to deprive us of our real needs for food, work and peace. We believe that documentaries like Ram ke Naam highlight the truth behind fanaticism that have always been used by forces in power to wreck destruction on the people. We hope to see you all at the screening tomorrow at Worldview, 5pm!

এই "রাম রাজ্যে" আমরা "রাম কে নাম" দেখাবো!
যখন এমন শক্তি ক্ষমতায় আসে যারা ধর্মকে মানুষের মধ্যে বিভেদ তৈরির হাতিয়ার হিসেবে ব্যবহার করে, তখন আমাদের এই ভূখণ্ডে সেই বিভেদের ঐতিহাসিক পরিণতির কথা মনে করিয়ে দিতে হয় নিজেদেরই। সেই পরিণতি হল — নানা সংস্কৃতি, ধর্ম আর ভাষায় ভরা একটা উপমহাদেশ, যেখানে মানুষকে একে অপরের বিরুদ্ধে ঘৃণায় ঠেলে দেওয়া হয়েছে, যাতে শাসকেরা আমাদের আসল চাহিদা — খাবার, কাজ আর শান্তি — থেকে বঞ্চিত করতে পারে।
আমরা মনে করি Ram Ke Naam–এর মতো তথ্যচিত্র দেখায় কীভাবে সাম্প্রদায়িক উন্মাদনা বারবার ক্ষমতাসীন শক্তির হাতে সাধারণ মানুষের উপর ধ্বংস নামিয়ে আনার অস্ত্র হয়ে উঠেছে। আগামীকাল বিকেল ৫টায় ওয়ার্ল্ডভিউ-তে স্ক্রিনিংয়ে আপনাদের সবাইকে দেখার আশা রাখছি!
