🌿 Carbon Exchange Festival 2026 – A Celebration of Sustainability & Community Action 🌿

On 12th April 2026, KMN Foundation was proud to be a part of the Carbon Exchange Festival at Mother Earth Foundation Boulevard, South Kolkata. The event truly reflected the spirit of Noboborsho with purpose, bringing together individuals committed to sustainability and circular living. ♻️

We are delighted to share that 155 kgs of used clothes were collected during the event—marking a significant step towards reducing textile waste and promoting circular practices.

Through our RagBag initiative, we engaged with the community by demonstrating how discarded textiles can be transformed into reusable products while creating livelihood opportunities for women from marginalised and LGBTQ+ communities.

💚 This collective effort reinforces that small actions can drive meaningful environmental and social change.

We extend our sincere thanks to the organisers and all participants for making this initiative a success. Let’s continue building a greener and more inclusive future 🌏

🌿 A Meaningful Step Towards Circular Living 🌿

We are happy to share that on 5th February 2026, our collaboration with https://www.facebook.com/PrabhatFoundation.org
led to a heartening outcome—a collection of used clothes from Kolkata and its vicinity, which were thoughtfully handed over to Karma Moksha Nirvana Foundation.

These donated clothes will now be upcycled through our RagBag initiative, where post-consumer textile waste is transformed into eco-friendly products, supporting positive climate action while creating dignified livelihoods for women and LGBTQ+ artisans from marginalized communities.

We truly appreciate Prabhat Foundation’s effort in mobilizing the community and extending a helping hand to strengthen this inclusive ecosystem. Together, we are turning everyday waste into value and building a greener, more compassionate future—one RagBag at a time. 💚♻️

Kolkata came together for an unforgettable, inspiring evening!
Thanks to the city’s incredible generosity, we collected 1.5 tonnes of pre-loved clothes, now being upcycled into 5,000 RagBags to support sustainability and livelihoods. We also honoured 50 Green Champions for their outstanding contributions throughout the drive.
