SNDMA celebrated the completion of its journey of 101 years on 23rd February 2026 . The occasion was graced by the famous reciter and theatre personality Smt Bijoylaxmi Burman. With her kind words she praised the activities of our Association. Prizes were awarded to students of different vocational departments.
The members staged a Srutinatak, directed by Smt Chandrika Kar which was indeed amusing. Various social organisations who came forward and supported our mission were invited . We , most humbly acknowledged their supporting hands.
Our students from the Adult Education Department also put up a brilliant show.
We invited a lady cab driver who established herself putting up a brave fight and presently earning with honour and raising her children as a single mother. She spoke about the insurmountable hurdles that she crossed. We wanted her to be an example to many who have been fighting such battles.
Our journey shall continue with support and efforts both from within and our friends from the society
