A six-year-old boy, Pranay Teja, reportedly collapsed and died at a school in Andhra Pradesh after a teacher allegedly slapped him for not completing his homework. On the basis of intelligence developed and profiling, one passenger travelling from Riyadh to Mumbai and further Mumbai to Delhi by Flight no. 6E-315 dated 17.08.2026, was intercepted at Terminal-1 of IGI Airport. He was carrying some household goods along with a cookware set in his checked-in luggage.
X-ray screening flagged suspicious images in his checked-in baggage. Thorough examination revealed 15 cut pieces of 24-carat gold, totaling 523g (net wt.), cleverly concealed inside the solid core of a cookware lid.

The passenger apprehended. Further investigation underway.
