14 years ago, on this very day, LittleBigHelp India Trust began its journey. Today, we are a team of 92 people, united by one shared purpose which is to create meaningful change.

Here is a glimpse of our Camac Street office and the people who work behind the scenes, turning ideas into plans and plans into action.

But LittleBigHelp is much more than an office. It is every field team member who takes those plans to the communities, every person who works directly with the children, youth, families and partners, and every individual who contributes in their own way.

From the office to the field, every hand, every idea and effort has helped in shaping these 14 years.

The people behind the work, the people on the ground, and everyone that has made LittleBigHelp what it is today. ❤️

Teachers Day The importance of teachers in our lives can never be measured. They do more than impart knowledge they shape minds, nurture confidence, and inspire us to believe in ourselves.
At LittleBigHelp India Trust , we strive to nurture this understanding among our students and trainees that a teacher is not just someone who teaches, but someone who guides, inspires, encourages, and walks with us on our journey of growth. As the team of LittleBigHelp India Trust, we celebrated and honoured our Director, Ms. Debashis Guha, with a small token of love and heartfelt gratitude for being more than a leader—a mentor whose guidance, wisdom, and belief in us continue to inspire us every day.

A Month of Youth, Creativity & Confidence!

What started as a celebration of Youth Day turned into a month-long journey of expression, creativity, and empowerment.
Over 150 young people came together through our month-long activities , many stepping up to perform for the very first time, creating meaningful posters, sharing their ideas, and most importantly, believing in the youth within them.
Their confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm reminded us that when young people are given a platform, they don’t just participate, they shine!

At LittleBigHelp, we celebrated Rakhi by tying the sacred thread on each other’s wrists, a beautiful reminder that family is not always connected by blood.
Sometimes, it is the bond of care, love, respect, and protection that truly brings us together. This Rakhi, we celebrated the beautiful relationships we build with one another and the promise to always stand by and care for each other.

She is Rama Biswas, a trainer for the Basic Tailoring Course conducted by LittleBigHelp India Trust. She is 37 years old and has been working as a trainer for the last four years. She is currently pursuing Class 12. She dropped out of school at an early age and later learned tailoring from the Howrah Government Institute. However, after working as a teacher, she realised that she needed to complete her education. She is now earning while also preparing for her Class 12 board examination.
Rama feels that the girls she has taught are an inspiration to her, but the inspiration has become mutual. The immensely talented Rama deserves much more appreciation.

Celebrating 80 Years of Independence!

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm across all implementation areas of LittleBigHelp India Trust.
Children came together to learn about the significance of Independence Day, our freedom, and the values of our nation. For many adults, today was also a beautiful journey back to their school days—reviving faint memories of Independence Day celebrations and rediscovering the meaning of freedom with renewed enthusiasm.
A day of learning, remembering, reliving, and celebrating the spirit of India.
