These classes are a part of our vocational training programme under the PEVT Project, designed to support women and youth from marginalized communities by helping them learn practical, income-generating skills. Participants are being trained in traditional and modern mehendi designs, improving their creativity, patience, and professional skills.

Healing Minds, Restoring Hope, Building Peace🌿

At our Kamarhati Centre, we continue our journey of trauma healing, emotional resilience, and psychological strengthening through regular psychological counselling and yoga sessions. These sessions create a safe and nurturing space where women and community members can release pain, process trauma, and reconnect with their inner strength.

Rooted in the principles of Restorative Justice, the initiative focuses on healing rather than punishment, dialogue rather than silence, and rebuilding relationships within families and the community. Through mindful breathing, guided movement, and therapeutic conversations, participants are learning to manage stress, overcome fear, and move forward with dignity and confidence.

This peace-building initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), whose support strengthens our commitment to fostering non-violence, justice, and lasting peace at the grassroots level.

Together, we believe that healed individuals build peaceful families, and peaceful families build strong communities. 🌱
