🌍 Earth Hour 2026 – Give an Hour for the Earth 🌱

Members of the Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts & Guides Group proudly observed Earth Hour 2026 by switching off all non-essential lights and gadgets from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

The hour was meaningfully spent sharing camping stories, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, bonding, and joy. Along with storytelling, members also enjoyed star gazing, making it a memorable and enriching experience. ✨🌌

This activity was conducted under the guidance of Cub Master Utsav Kumar Verma. We extend our heartfelt thanks to The Bharat Scouts and Guides for their inspiring activity initiatives.

पुष्करलाल केडिया स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स ग्रुप द्वारा विश्व चिंतन दिवस का आयोजन

पुष्करलाल केडिया स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स ग्रुप द्वारा आज विश्व चिंतन दिवस का कार्यक्रम मनीषिका सभागार में हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर स्काउट एवं गाइड के बच्चों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। लगभग 60 बच्चों ने प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता तथा 38 बच्चों ने मॉडल निर्माण प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेकर अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत स्काउट प्रार्थना से हुई। इसके पश्चात दल-नेता स्काउट विनेश जोशी ने रॉबर्ट वेडन पॉवेल के मंच-चित्र पर स्कार्फ पहनाकर उन्हें श्रद्धापूर्वक याद किया। वहीं दल-सचिव गणेश सिंह ने हमारे गुरु, श्रद्धेय स्वर्गीय पुष्करलाल जी केडिया के स्टैचू पर स्कार्फ पहनाकर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।

इस अवसर पर स्काउट एवं गाइड के बच्चों ने केक काटकर Olave Baden-Powell तथा बैडेन पावेल का जन्मदिवस मनाया। रेंजर सोनी गुप्ता ने विश्व चिंतन दिवस के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि यह दिवस विश्वभर के स्काउट एवं गाइड के बीच एकता और भाईचारे का प्रतीक है। साथ ही अंकुश पांडेय ने देशभक्ति पर आधारित कविता प्रस्तुत की।

कार्यक्रम में वर्ष 2024–2025 के लिए श्रेष्ठ प्रतिभागियों को सम्मानित किया गया। बेस्ट स्काउट के रूप में ऋषि सोनकर, बेस्ट गाइड के रूप में आराध्या शॉ, बेस्ट रोवर के रूप में सुधांशु सिंह तथा बेस्ट रेंजर के रूप में सोनी गुप्ता को स्मृति-चिन्ह प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।

सभी प्रतिभागियों, उपविजेताओं तथा विजेताओं को पदक एवं प्रमाणपत्र संरक्षक मोहनलाल केडिया, राजेश तिवारी, उपाध्यक्ष संगीता केडिया तथा दल-नेता विनेश जोशी के करकमलों द्वारा प्रदान किए गए।

उपाध्यक्ष संगीता केडिया ने बच्चों के साथ अपने विचार साझा किए तथा दल-नेता विनेश जोशी ने बच्चों को अपना आशीर्वचन प्रदान किया।

अंत में धन्यवाद ज्ञापन स्काउट मास्टर एवं दल-सचिव गणेश सिंह द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम के पश्चात बच्चों के लिए जलपान की व्यवस्था भी की गई।

कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में विनय पांडे, कब मास्टर उत्सव कुमार वर्मा, रेंजर सोनी गुप्ता, चांदनी मिश्रा तथा स्काउट त्रिपुरारी झा ने महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया।

कार्यक्रम उत्साहपूर्ण एवं अनुशासित वातावरण में संपन्न हुआ।

World Thinking Day Celebrated by Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts and Guides Group

Kolkata: The Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts and Guides Group celebrated World Thinking Day with great enthusiasm at Manishika Sabhagar. Scout and Guide students participated actively in the program. Around 60 students took part in the quiz competition, while 38 students participated in the model-making competition and showcased their talents.

The program began with the Scout Prayer. On this occasion, Group Leader Scout Vinesh Joshi paid tribute to Robert Baden-Powell by placing a scarf on his portrait. Group Secretary Ganesh Singh paid tribute to the respected Late Shri Pushkarlal Kedia by placing a scarf on his statue.

Scout and Guide students also celebrated the birth anniversaries of Olave Baden-Powell and Baden-Powell by cutting a cake.

Ranger Soni Gupta spoke about the importance of World Thinking Day and said that the day symbolizes unity and brotherhood among Scouts and Guides across the world. Ankush Pandey recited a patriotic poem during the event.

Outstanding participants for the year 2024–2025 were also honored. Rishi Sonkar was awarded Best Scout, Aradhya Shaw Best Guide, Sudhanshu Singh Best Rover, and Soni Gupta Best Ranger. They were honored with mementos.

All participants, runners-up, and winners were awarded medals and certificates by Patron Mohanlal Kedia, Rajesh Tiwari, Vice-President Sangeeta Kedia, and Group Leader Vinesh Joshi.

Vice-President Sangeeta Kedia shared her views with the students, while Group Leader Vinesh Joshi blessed and encouraged the children.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Scout Master and Group Secretary Ganesh Singh. Refreshments were arranged for the children after the program.

The event was successfully organized with the support of Vinay Pandey, Cub Master Utsav Kumar Verma, Ranger Soni Gupta, Chandani Mishra, and Scout Tripurari Jha.
The program concluded in a joyful and disciplined atmosphere. ✨📰

गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह का भव्य आयोजन

मोहान लाल जी केडिया के मार्गदर्शन में तथा केडिया सभा एवं मनीषिका के सहयोग से पुष्करलाल केडिया स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स ग्रुप द्वारा गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह का भव्य आयोजन किया गया।
इस कार्यक्रम में लगभग 100 स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स की उपस्थिति रही।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत ध्वजारोहण से हुई, जिसके पश्चात स्काउट प्रार्थना की गई। इसके बाद स्काउट्स और गाइड्स ने मिलकर राजस्थानी गीत पर मनमोहक नृत्य प्रस्तुति दी।

गाइड अहाना सिंह ने देशभक्ति से ओतप्रोत कविता पाठ कर सभी का मन मोह लिया।
गणतंत्र दिवस के साथ-साथ स्काउट-गाइड का Investiture Ceremony भी संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें 16 स्काउट्स एवं 8 गाइड्स को औपचारिक रूप से दल में सम्मिलित किया गया।
राज कुमार जी केडिया, संजीव केडिया, पवन केडिया एवं मोहन लाल जी केडिया द्वारा बच्चों को स्कार्फ पहनाकर एवं बैज प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।

साथ ही 12 स्काउट-गाइड्स को प्रथम सोपान का बैज भी प्रदान किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में राज कुमार जी केडिया, पवन केडिया, संजीव केडिया तथा संरक्षक मोहान लाल जी केडिया उपस्थित रहे।

कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित सभी बच्चों को उपहार एवं जलपान भी प्रदान किया गया।
इस सफल आयोजन को साकार करने में

विनय पांडे, त्रिपुरारी झा, ऐश्वर्या पांडे, जया कुमारी, सोनी गुप्ता एवं चांदनी मिश्रा का योगदान अत्यंत सराहनीय रहा।

ग्रुप सेक्रेटरी गणेश सिंह के नेतृत्व में यह आयोजन अत्यंत सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।

Grand Republic Day Celebration

Under the guidance of Shri Mohan Lal Kedia, and with the support of Kedia Sabha and Manishika, the Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts and Guides Group organized a grand Republic Day Celebration.

Around 100 Scouts and Guides actively participated in the programme.

The event began with Flag Hoisting, followed by the Scout Prayer. After that, the Scouts and Guides presented a beautiful Rajasthani dance performance. Guide Ahana Singh also recited a patriotic poem which touched everyone’s heart.

Along with Republic Day, an Investiture Ceremony was also orgenise in which 16 Scouts and 8 Guides were formally invested.

Shri Raj Kumar Kedia, Shri Sanjeev Kedia, Shri Pawan Kedia, and Shri Mohan Lal Kedia honoured the children by presenting scarves and badges.

In addition, 12 Scouts and Guides were awarded the Pratham Sopan Badge.

The dignitaries present on the occasion were Shri Raj Kumar Kedia, Shri Pawan Kedia, Shri Sanjeev Kedia, and Patron Shri Mohan Lal Kedia.

All the participating children were given gifts and refreshments.

The contribution of Vinay Pandey, Tripurari Jha, Aishwarya Pandey, Jaya Kumari, Soni Gupta, and Chandani Mishra was highly appreciable.
Under the leadership of Group Secretary Shri Ganesh Singh, the programme was successfully completed.

जरूरतमंदों के बीच 150 कंबलों का वितरण

Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts & Guides Group द्वारा सेवा अभियान

Dankuni, Hooghly , मोहान लाल जी केडिया के मार्गदर्शन एवं Manishika के सहयोग से Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts and Guides Group द्वारा डांकुनी में जरूरतमंद लोगों के बीच कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम गणेश सिंह (ग्रुप सेक्रेटरी) के तत्त्वावधान में सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ।

इस सेवा अभियान के अंतर्गत लगभग 150 जरूरतमंदों को कंबल वितरित किए गए।
इस अवसर पर डांकुनी नगरपालिका के उपाध्यक्ष श्री प्रकाश रहा एवं पार्षद श्रीमती जयश्री सिन्हा विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहीं। दोनों अतिथियों ने इस मानवीय पहल की सराहना करते हुए संगठन को समाज सेवा के लिए प्रेरित किया।

कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिकों एवं स्वयंसेवकों की सहभागिता रही। आयोजन को सफल बनाने में जिनका विशेष योगदान रहा, उनमें लीडर उत्सव कुमार वर्मा, जया कुमारी, रेंजर ऐश्वर्या पांडेय, स्काउट त्रिपुरारी झा, सुनील तिवारी, शंकर शॉ, भवेश पात्रा एवं चंद्रकांत प्रमुख हैं।
कार्यक्रम के अंत में आयोजकों ने भविष्य में भी ऐसे सेवा कार्यों को निरंतर जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया।

150 Blankets Distributed Among the Needy

Service Initiative by Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts & Guides Group

Dankuni, Hooghly , Under the guidance of Mohan Lal Kedia Ji and with the support of Manishika, the Pushkarlal Kedia Scouts and Guides Group organized a blanket distribution programme in Dankuni for the underprivileged. The programme was successfully conducted under the leadership of Ganesh Singh (Group Secretary).

As part of this humanitarian initiative, nearly 150 needy people were provided with blankets.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Prakash Raha, Vice Chairman, Dankuni Municipality, and Ms. Jaishree Sinha, Councillor, who appreciated the noble effort and encouraged the organization to continue such social service activities.

Many local residents and volunteers participated actively in the programme. Those who played a key role in making the event successful include Leader Utsav Kumar Verma, Jaya Kumari, Ranger Aishwarya Pandey, Scout Tripurari Jha, Sunil Tiwari, Shankar Shaw, Bhavesh Patra, and Chandrakant.
At the end of the programme, the organizers reaffirmed their commitment to continue similar welfare activities in the future.

🏅 A Proud Moment for Pushkar Lal Kedia Scout Group! ⚜️

Shri Kishan Kumar Jha (RSL, PLK) was honoured during the Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 18 January 2026 at STC, Ganganagar, in the gracious presence of eminent national and state dignitaries.

On this occasion, he received the Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) certificate, BIT, and parchments, marking a significant milestone in adult leader training under The Bharat Scouts & Guides.

Proud participation of 6 Rovers and 3 Rangers from Pushkar Lal Media Scouts & Guides Group at the 1st National Rover Ranger Jamboree, held from 9th–13th January 2026 at Dudhli, Balod, Chhattisgarh.
