We are thrilled to announce that Suvrojyoit Sur (Executive Member AIFD) and Oshin Das (Executive Member NAD) will be representing West Bengal at the International Week of Deaf People Conference in New Delhi!

The conference is happening from 26th to 28th September 2025.

We wish them the very best as they represent our state on this national platform.

23rd September 2025 – International Day of Sign Languages

Today’s program at the Auditorium was challenged by heavy rain and flooding. Many Deaf people faced late buses and trains.

Smt. Tesjavi Rana, IAS, Director of Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, could not attend due to the heavy rainfall.

But we were honored by the presence of Dr. B. N. Rao, Assistant Director, Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan), Eastern Regional Centre, Kolkata. His presence gave us strength and hope for the future. 🙌✨

Despite the difficulties, the program was a positive success—a true example of unity and faith. 💙

We look forward with renewed energy for the next event. 🌟
