Project Description:Members collected 500 saplings of various woody and flowering plants from Eden Garden- a hectic task which took them nearly 4 to 5 hrs . After all the hard work, we successfully distributed the saplings to Vivekananda College , Thakurpukur as per their appeal.It was a meaningful initiative to promote environmental awareness and contribute to a greener, healthier future .

Project Description: School Girls of Bankim Ghosh Memorial School , Khidderpore were taught the three Safety Rules : Say NO , Run Away and tell a trusted Adult if faced any uncomfortable or unsafe touch by any one in the society. Our club member Piyali Ghosh along with Hasi Halder and School Teacher gave valuable information to the students of Class Six to Eight on the subject. Maggie, Maggie Masala, Cookies were distributed to the students and teachers who attended.

Timely awareness has the power to change society.
Adolescence is a vulnerable stage when young minds are guided more by emotion and impulse than reason. At this age, both girls and boys can become targets of exploitation by adults they know and trust, especially when it comes to understanding ‘Good Touch’ and ‘Bad Touch’.
To safeguard them, our club regularly conducts awareness workshops and seminars in schools.
This time, we held a seminar for students of Classes 6, 7, and 8 at Bankim Ghosh Memorial Girls’ High School, Khidderpore.
The session was conducted by our member, Ms. Piyali Ghosh, a psychologist, with valuable support from Ms. Hasi Halder. They presented the topic in a sensitive, age-appropriate, and interactive way, using real-life examples and shared experiences to build trust. We hope this programme will give the students the knowledge and confidence to identify, resist, and report any form of abuse, and to grow up feeling safe and empowered. We also distributed Maggie,Maggie masala and choco pie cookies to the students and the teachers present

To support someone in their hour of need is our true purpose as Inner Wheel.
Shri Ganesh Ram,a senior citizen and a resident of Roy Bahadur Road, Behala, suffered a debilitating brain stroke that left him paralyzed and bedridden. As the sole earning member of the family, his sudden illness pushed the household into severe distress.
To ease his difficulty,our club donated a wheelchair to Shri Ram. We hope this will provide him with greater comfort, mobility, and a sense of independence in his daily life .

Bringing smile

We always try to serve the backward community of the society who are deprived of the basic amenities of life.
This year, we celebrated Sabar Diwas on Dec 29-31 at Amlasol, Purulia, donating ₹20,000 towards meals for the community. Piali Ghosh led the initiative, continuing the club's noble project.
We also extended our support to the people of Baragora,
East Jharkhand ,District
Shinbhum,
Ghatshila Mohakuma, donating garments worth ₹5,000 to 40 children. A heartfelt thanks to our members for their generosity.
Every small gesture counts, and our club’s dedication is bringing joy to those who need it most.
