It is our immense pleasure to inform you all that our researcher-innovation group Jadavpur University UAV Innovators' Lab has developed Viral Cough Cop (VCC) Device, a unique device to detect monitor and track potential COVID-19 suspects in crowds, gatherings and public places by identifying and analyzing the cough events produced. Our team is continuously working for further advancement of the system with the goal to make the device available for the society to the earliest.

Jadavpur University has filed an Indian Patent for An intelligent cough and speech sensing device for COVID-19.

We are developing a cost-effective drone based solution to detect COVID-19 suspects efficiently at open public places like railway stations, bus stands, roads, markets. It will help to fight against the spread of the virus at crowded areas by scanning those places continuously.

The outbreak of Corona virus across the globe has been exponentially increasing. To fight it back, we need effective monitoring system as one of the key tools. A low-cost aerial monitoring system that can identify humans with elevated temperature is essential to track the COVID-19 suspects.
