🌺 MILAN MELA 2026 | WHERE COMPASSION MEETS CELEBRATION 🌺

“Before we welcome Maa Durga into our homes, let us honour the living mothers who embody her strength, resilience and grace.” 🙏

With immense joy and gratitude, Sadhan Satya Welfare Trust (SSWT) shares glimpses of Milan Mela 2026, successfully celebrated at Shibganj Bazar, Jharkhali, Sundarbans, on 11 October 2026.

Beautifully hosted by Champa Mahila Samiti, with SSWT as a strategic partner and the collective participation of numerous social welfare organisations, this celebration brought together compassion, solidarity and a shared commitment to humanity.

❤️ 500+ women, including tiger-attack widows and mothers from marginalised communities, received essential support through the distribution of food, new clothes, mosquito nets, blankets and seeds for income-generating cultivation.

🌿 Beyond immediate relief, the gathering opened meaningful dialogues on sustainable livelihoods, women's empowerment, skill development, education, nutrition and digital literacy—transforming a day of giving into a vision for lasting change.

📚 Our children at Dhira Choudhury Prakritir Pathshala, established in loving memory of Late Dhira Choudhury, received new festive clothes. We also strengthened our Anish Memorial Library & Computer Learning Centre with an additional computer, honouring the memory of Late Dr. Amal Kanti De.

✨ The occasion became even more memorable with the gracious presence of Mr. Subhodip De (Advisor, SSWT), Ms. Priyanka Jana (Project Coordinator), Mr. Kollol Karmakar, and our special guest Ms. Brishti Roy, a familiar face from the Bengali entertainment industry, who joined hands with us in this meaningful endeavour.

🙏 Our heartfelt gratitude to every participating organisation, patron, volunteer, member and well-wisher. Special appreciation to Ms. Srima Biswas for her continued encouragement and unwavering support towards our social initiatives.

🌺 As Bengal prepares to welcome Uma, the Divine Daughter, we chose to begin our festivities by standing beside the mothers of the Sundarbans.

Because the truest celebration of Shakti lies not merely in worshipping the Goddess, but in empowering the women who reflect her strength every day.

For the entire SSWT family, Milan Mela 2026 was not merely an event—it was a celebration of humanity, dignity and collective responsibility.

সাধন সত্য ওয়েলফেয়ার ট্রাস্টের পক্ষ থেকে সম্প্রতি বিবেকানন্দ মিশনের এক অনুপ্রেরণামূলক সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত থাকার সৌভাগ্য হয়েছিল।

বিভিন্ন মঠের পূজনীয় মহারাজ ও বিশিষ্টজনেরা একত্রিত হয়েছিলেন স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের কর্মমুখী আদর্শকে জেলায় জেলায় পৌঁছে দেওয়া, যুবসমাজকে উদ্বুদ্ধ করা এবং দক্ষতা, কর্মসংস্থান ও সমাজসেবার মাধ্যমে আত্মনির্ভরতার পথ দেখানোর লক্ষ্যে। সেই মহতী উদ্যোগের কিছু খণ্ডচিত্র।

🇮🇳 Celebrating Freedom, Children & a Very Special 80th Birthday | Sundarban 🇮🇳

This 80th Independence Day was especially memorable for the Sadhan Satya Welfare Trust (SSWT) family as we celebrated with our beloved scholars at our Sundarban Centre, together with friends, family and our local support partner Champa Mahila Samiti.

Our young scholars filled the day with joy, creativity and wonderful performances—celebrating the spirit of a confident, vibrant and hopeful India. 🇮🇳

Our Sundarban initiatives continue through the Anish Memorial Library, Prakritir Pathshala in memory of Late Smt. Dhira Chowdhury, and the Computer Centre in memory of Late Sri Amal Kanti Dey.

❤️ The day was even more special as 15th August 2026 marks the 80th birthday of Sri Pranab Chowdhury, Chairperson of SSWT and my beloved father. Despite his physical ailments, having him with us to share this beautiful occasion with our children made the celebration deeply meaningful.

🙏 Special thanks to Smt. Krishna Nag and Ms. Seema Biswas for joining us and making this joyous occasion even more special.

🙏 Our heartfelt appreciation to Sri Amal Nayek for his continued guardianship, care and commitment towards our scholars and all our Sundarban projects.
