From plantation to a living ecosystem. 🌱🦊
The real impact of our restoration work is now visible. By Uttarayan Wildlife.
A Bengal Fox has established a den inside a restoration area planted last year. Indian Hares have returned, birds are using the growing vegetation as habitat, and the local food chain is beginning to revive. Strong tree growth and natural regeneration are clear signs that ecological succession is taking place.
This year, we strengthened existing restoration areas through replantation and maintenance, while establishing a new plantation at Jhujka, Purulia.
But restoration doesn't happen in a season. It takes patience, protection, maintenance, and years of natural recovery.
We don't just plant trees.
We create the conditions for ecosystems to come back to life.
