🚨Act Now – Mandatory Compliance in West Bengal!

🚨The Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises and Department of Women & Child Development, Govt. of West Bengal has issued a clear directive 📜 –

All private organisations must constitute Internal Committees (ICs) under the PoSH Act without delay & within Dept of WCD of 12-08-2025.

🔑 Key for Private Companies:

⚖️ Legal Mandate – Every workplace with 10+ employees must have a functional Internal Committee.

👩‍⚖️ Proper Constitution – IC must include a Presiding Officer (woman employee), internal members, and an External Member with PoSH expertise.

📋 Policy & Display – Anti policy must be in place & displayed prominently in the workplace.

📢 Awareness & Training– Regular sensitisation sessions for employees and IC members.

📊 Annual Reporting – Submit annual PoSH compliance report to the District Officer as per the Act.
