URAN Welfare Society Working since 2018 towards Child Welfare, Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, Environmental Issues and Social Reformation. S0009213 of 2019-20. KEEP WELL!!

Uran, for “flight”, a word which holds in itself a deep meaning of Freedom & Independence, and that is exactly what we strive to achieve as an NGO. Uran Welfare Society is a government-registered NGO with REG NO. Our sole purpose is to provide public welfare, with an aim of playing an active role in Child Development, Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, and Social Reformation. This Official page of Uran Welfare Society is created to raise awareness among the mass with the intention to spread the work we do and request all general people at large to donate. Remember your support and donation will aid us to work more on-

Child Development- Working for children, whether it means providing for their education of food or hygiene or augmentation of their knowledge. The smile on the face of a child is never fake, therefore the satisfaction we get after helping them is always unparallel. Women Empowerment- Women are the most beautiful creation of God. But then they face probably the most inhumane atrocities in society. We stand against every ideology that challenges a woman's moral code and principles. Disaster Management- Since the inception of our NGO, we never stood behind ourselves when natural calamities or any type of disaster hit our homeland. We are always ready to help the victims of these unfortunate phenomena either alone or in collaboration with other organisations. Social Reformation- The idea of bringing change in the minds of people to correct the wrongs of society is also something we work upon. Women and individuals belonging to subordinate castes face the most injustice in the hands of society which we never tolerate. For more information visit www.uranwelfaresociety.com

STAY WELL!!

To make the joy of the festive season even more meaningful, Uran Welfare Society has come forward with this small initiative. Our aim is to bring smiles to the faces of children, put new clothes in their hands, and create a better and more joyful learning environment for them.

With this purpose, Uran is reaching Kisholoy Shiksha Niketan School in Kharagpur on 12th October. The Uran family has taken the responsibility of renovating and redecorating their classrooms, installing a water purifier to help address the school’s water-related issues, and, as always, providing new clothes to children from financially disadvantaged families. Along with these, we also wish to provide them with educational materials and sports equipment. 📚✨

Your small contribution can become a source of inspiration for a child to dream of a brighter future.

This Puja, let us celebrate the festivities while also spreading love, hope, and the light of education. ❤️

04/07/2026

For the past 8 years, URAN has been supporting underprivileged children through education, nutrition programs, and community outreach. To mark our founding day on 1st May, we will celebrate on Sunday, 5th July 2026 with children on Vivekananda Road through cake cutting, food packets, distribution of educational materials and also a blood donation camp will be organised with a health checkup camp for the same purpose.
A single blood donation can save up to 3 lives, and your contribution can make a real difference. We encourage you to join us and, if you are eligible, to donate blood, because this is the real celebration of the Birthday of our beloved URAN.
