New Town AE Block proudly celebrated Banomotsav (Van Mahotsav) on 26th July with a tree plantation drive, reaffirming our commitment to a greener and healthier neighbourhood.

Every sapling planted today is a promise to future generations. This initiative reflects our collective responsibility towards protecting the environment, increasing green cover, and inspiring sustainable living within our community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the residents, volunteers, and participants who made this initiative a success. Together, let’s nurture these trees and continue building a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant AE Block.

Newtown AE Block Cultural & Social Welfare Association proudly celebrated Rabindra–Nazrul Jayanti, honoring the timeless legacy of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.

The evening was filled with soulful Rabindra Sangeet, inspiring Nazrul Geeti, recitations, dance performances, and cultural presentations by talented residents and children of our community. The event beautifully reflected the spirit of literature, music, harmony, and Bengali heritage that continues to inspire generations.

A heartfelt thank you to all performers, volunteers, participants, and residents whose enthusiasm and support made this celebration a memorable success.

Saraswati Puja 2026 | Newtown AE Block Cultural & Social Welfare Association 🌼📚

Saraswati Puja 2026 was celebrated with devotion and joy by the Newtown AE Block Cultural & Social Welfare Association. Residents and families came together to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings for knowledge and wisdom. The celebration included traditional rituals, pushpanjali, hate khori for young children, cultural performances, and distribution of bhog and prasad. The event beautifully reflected community bonding, cultural values, and the spirit of learning.

The AE Block Annual Sports 2025, held on 21st December, was a wonderful celebration of fitness, unity, and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all block members for your enthusiastic participation, encouragement, and vibrant energy, which truly brought the event to life and made it a grand success.

We sincerely appreciate the dedicated efforts of the Sports Committee, event coordinators, and volunteers, whose meticulous planning, teamwork, and tireless commitment ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the program. A special note of thanks to our announcer, whose engaging commentary kept the energy high and the audience connected throughout the event.
