The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride, patriotic spirit and enthusiasm on 15th August 2026 at DRM Sports Ground, Sealdah.

The celebration was organised by Sealdah Division with the active participation members of the Sealdah District Association, Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides (ERBSG). The Scouts & Guides presented an impressive Physical Display, Band Display and March Past, showcasing discipline, teamwork and dedication.

The programme was graced by DRM/SDAH & President, ERBSG/SDAH, shri Rajeev Saxena sir along with President, ERWWO/SDAH smt.Nidhi Saxena madam.With District Commissioner (Scout), ERBSG/SDAH & Sr. DEE(G)/SDAH, Shri Abhijit Das sir along with all District Officials, Branch Officials and distinguished dignitaries, were also present.

The enthusiastic participation and disciplined performances of the Scouts & Guides added pride and vibrancy to the celebration.

On and from 25.07.26 - 26.07.26 The Sealdah District Association Under ERBSG successfully conducted the District Level Dwitiya sopan and tritiya sopan Testing camp at Sealdah with the enthusiastic participation of 110 Scouts & Guides Along with unit leader and District Officials.

The camp was conducted smoothly, reflecting the spirit of discipline, skill, and commitment to Scouting and Guiding.
