Haralakunte School, under Harati Panchayat, has 24 school children and 14 Anganwadi children who had been studying while sitting on the floor for a long time. The children were in need of proper desks for a better learning environment.

With the generous support of Rotary City Centre Club, who agreed to share 50% of the cost, we arranged 15 desks, each costing β‚Ή5,000.

Distribution of desks:
βœ” 10 desks to Haralakunte School
βœ” 5 desks to the very backward village Vadandahalli

During the visit, we also organized sports activities for the children and distributed prizes, bringing great joy and excitement among them. Seeing their smiles and enthusiasm was truly heartwarming. 😊

This initiative is a small step toward improving rural education and creating better opportunities for our children.

The Rotary Kolar Collective Action Club had the honour of hosting a GOV on the 16th of this month. The event was a resounding success, reflecting the collective spirit and dedication of the club.

We were privileged to welcome District Governor Sridhar B.R., District Secretary Ravindra Narayana, Assistant Governor Ramakrishnappa, Zonal Secretary Shivakumar, Zonal CSR Head Hemamalini, Club Founder President Shankar K.S. President Shilpa, Secretary Ramesh Krishnappa, and several dedicated club members.

On September 8, 2025, we celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with great enthusiasm at Antaraganga Vidya Samstha – Special Needs Children's Residential School & Rehabilitation Centre, Antaraganga Ashraya Dama.
This special program was organised jointly by Rotary Kolar Collective Action, Collective Action Network, and Naragund Physiotherapy College.
