Haralakunte School, under Harati Panchayat, has 24 school children and 14 Anganwadi children who had been studying while sitting on the floor for a long time. The children were in need of proper desks for a better learning environment.

With the generous support of Rotary City Centre Club, who agreed to share 50% of the cost, we arranged 15 desks, each costing ₹5,000.

💠 Our Club Contribution: ₹37,500
💠 Rotary City Centre Club Contribution: ₹37,500
💠 Total Cost: ₹75,000

Distribution of desks:
✔ 10 desks to Haralakunte School
✔ 5 desks to the very backward village Vadandahalli

During the visit, we also organized sports activities for the children and distributed prizes, bringing great joy and excitement among them. Seeing their smiles and enthusiasm was truly heartwarming. 😊

This initiative is a small step toward improving rural education and creating better opportunities for our children.

Rotarian Mahesh Rao Kadam has been honoured with the Karnataka State Environmentalist Indira Priyadarshini Award by the Government of Karnataka for her remarkable leadership in the Plastic Free Kolar campaign in Kolar district. Rotary District 3191 – Kolar Zone Board Meeting was successfully held on 16-10-2025 2025 at the Rotary Kolar Collective Action Office.
The meeting was graced by the presence of the Respected District Governor, Rtn. Sridhar B.R., who addressed the gathering with his inspiring words on collective service, leadership, and the power of Rotary to create lasting change in society.
Board members from the Kolar Zone actively participated, discussing ongoing initiatives, strengthening community service projects, and outlining future action plans to foster greater impact across the region.

The Rotary Kolar Collective Action Club had the honour of hosting a GOV on the 16th of this month. The event was a resounding success, reflecting the collective spirit and dedication of the club.

We were privileged to welcome District Governor Sridhar B.R., District Secretary Ravindra Narayana, Assistant Governor Ramakrishnappa, Zonal Secretary Shivakumar, Zonal CSR Head Hemamalini, Club Founder President Shankar K.S. President Shilpa, Secretary Ramesh Krishnappa, and several dedicated club members.

The visit was conducted as part of the club’s official responsibilities, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to community service, collaboration, and excellence in all Rotary initiatives.

An Anti-Ragging Awareness Workshop was held today at the Horticulture College, Tamaka, Kolar, in collaboration with the Police Department and the Rotary Kolar Collective Action. The session highlighted the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment. Rotary Kolar Collective Action President Shilpa Anil addressed the students, emphasising kindness, discipline, and mutual respect as the foundation for academic and personal growth.

🌍✨ World Physiotherapy Day 2025 Celebration at Antaraganga ✨🌍
On September 8, 2025, we celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with great enthusiasm at Antaraganga Vidya Samstha – Special Needs Children's Residential School & Rehabilitation Centre, Antaraganga Ashraya Dama.
This special program was organised jointly by Rotary Kolar Collective Action, Collective Action Network, and Naragund Physiotherapy College.
We were honoured by the presence of distinguished guests:
