🌟 Kolar Lakeside Rotary Club Update 🌟

Joining hands with the Civic Society of Mulbagal and Krishi Mithra Foundation, Rtn. Rohan Kumar K and Rtn. President Girija M S reached several villages in Alangoor Panchayath. They engaged with the village children, organized short interactions on climate action, and worked on the Women Empowerment program along with farmers as part of the activities in October 2024.

Dr. Bharathi and club member Rtn. Sasmitha Mintbook. Together with all our Rotarian club members, we conducted a comprehensive activity and need analysis.

On 15th October 2024, under the leadership of our President Rtn Girija M S, we celebrated Student Day and Disaster Management Day with an impactful program in Kolar city. Rtn Hoohalli Nagaraj, in collaboration with New Generation Service, led an awareness session on creating a plastic-free environment for the youth.

🌿 Kolar Lakeside Rotary Club Update 🌿

On 16th October 2024, Rtn Poongodi Ammu, under the leadership of our President Rtn Girija M S, led a fantastic Rotary activity in Marrikuppam village. The event included a drawing competition and a climate action awareness session titled "War Against Plastic."

We were thrilled to see participation from 16 children, women, and GP members. Each child received a Rotary notebook as a token of appreciation.

🌿 Join Us for a Plastic-Free Mulabagilu: Climate Action Event! 🌿

Kolar Lakeside Rotary Club is leading the charge in making Mulabagilu town plastic-free, promoting climate action literacy and environmental education! Along with the blessed devoted and dedicated sponsorship of Grama Vikas (Honnashettahalli) 🌍✨

District Judiciary, youths, Mulabagilu Taluku Naagarikara Foundation Civic Society, NGOs, and socially active individuals came together for this impactful event.

The day began with Justice Sri Sunil S Hosamani engaging with youths about environmental responsibility and the importance of a drug-free society. This was followed by an inspiring address by our Chartered President Rtn MVN Rao and President Rtn Giraja M S, with all Kolar Lakeside Rotary Club members actively participating.

Our community came alive as we planted trees around town, spearheaded by Mulabagilu Taluku Naagarikara Vedike Civic Society and supported by Azadh Youth Association. 🌳 Together, we made a difference!

We also held a "Climate Action Awareness March," covering major streets and spreading the message of environmental responsibility.
