That's too in Tezpur in 2026, no doubt of the reason why Meghalaya has issue with Assam. Some anti tribal Assamese speaking people should be able to digest the truth that Assam is not a single language or culture state. Rest be educated.

Tezpur, Assam: A Bodo student of Tezpur Science Academy has allegedly been assaulted by a group of students following weeks of alleged bullying, discriminatory remarks and comments targeting his ethnic identity and regional accent.

According to allegations, the student was repeatedly subjected to derogatory remarks. A faculty member has also been accused of making fun of the student’s way of speaking during a classroom session.

The situation reportedly intensified after the student confronted those allegedly involved, following which he was allegedly attacked and sustained injuries.

Student welfare organisations and rights advocates have called for a fair and transparent inquiry into the incident. They have also urged the authorities to take appropriate disciplinary and legal action if the allegations are found to be true, while ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.

मैं वर्तमान तथाकथित नेताओं को संबोधित करता हूं, बीटीआर का गठन असम में बोडो लोगों को अधिक स्वायत्तता प्रदान करने के लिए किया गया था, जिसका उद्देश्य आर्थिक, शैक्षिक और राजनीतिक स्वशासन की लंबे समय से चली आ रही मांगों को संबोधित करना था। यही बात क्रमशः अन्य स्वायत्त परिषदों के साथ भी लागू होती है। लेकिन वर्तमान सरकार विशेषकर बीटीआर क्षेत्र के उद्देश्यों की रक्षा करने में विफल हो रही है। वर्तमान तनाव रहेगा
1. लाभों को कम करना: मौजूदा एसटी सदस्यों को शिक्षा, सरकारी नौकरियों और कल्याण योजनाओं में सीमित अवसरों के लिए नए, अक्सर अधिक आबादी वाले और अपेक्षाकृत उन्नत समूहों के साथ प्रतिस्पर्धा करनी होगी।
2. राजनीतिक हाशिए पर जाना: एसटी के लिए आरक्षित विधानसभा और संसदीय सीटों में राजनीतिक प्रतिनिधित्व का संभावित नुकसान, क्योंकि नए समूह इन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में बहुमत हासिल कर सकते हैं।
3. जनसांख्यिकी में परिवर्तन: इन छह समुदायों को शामिल करने से असम में कुल एसटी आबादी लगभग 12.4% से बढ़कर लगभग 45% हो जाएगी, जिससे संभावित रूप से राज्य का राजनीतिक चरित्र और शक्ति संतुलन बदल जाएगा।

6 अन्य समुदायों का आदिवासीकरण किसी भी स्वायत्त परिषद के उद्देश्यों को पंगु बना देगा। इससे पहले कि बहुत देर हो जाए, सभी युवा संगठनों और के लिए कार्रवाई करने का समय आ गया है।

और जो नेता अपने ही लोगों से परामर्श किए बिना या उनकी बात सुने बिना इस बात पर अड़े रहते हैं कि 'अपनी कब्र मत खोदो', आने वाली पीढ़ियां हैं और आने वाली पीढ़ियां आपसे यह सवाल करेंगी, क्यों?

Let me address the current so-called leaders, the BTR was formed to grant greater autonomy to the Bodo people in Assam, aiming to address long-standing demands for economic, educational, and political self-governance. The same goes with other autonomous councils respectively. But the current government is failing to protect the objectives specially of the BTR region. The current tension will
1. Dilute the benefits: Existing ST members would have to compete for limited opportunities in education, government jobs, and welfare schemes with the new, often more populous and relatively advanced, groups.
2. Political marginalization: The potential loss of political representation in assembly and parliamentary seats reserved for STs, as the new groups could secure a majority in these constituencies.
3. Changes of demographics:The inclusion of these six communities would significantly increase the total ST population in Assam from around 12.4% to nearly 45%, potentially changing the state's political character and power balance.

The tribalization of 6 other communities will crippled the objectives of any autonomous council. It's high time for all the youth organisations and to act before it's too late.

And to leaders who brace this without consulting or listening to its own people 'don't dig your own grave', there are generations to come and future generations will question you this, why?
