The outgoing president,Tohuka Achumi, formally handed over files and responsibilities to the newly elected President, Neivisieli Rino, on 29th July 2025, during the handing over program held at Red Cross Hall,Kohima, in the presence of both the newly elected and outgoing executives of NLSF.

The NLSF 10th General Conference will be held on July 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Hotel Saramati, followed by the Federal Assembly after the program.

NLSF strictly opposes regularization or absorption of 147 Contractual Assistant Professor and Librarians into regular Post and demands revocation of Nagaland Government Order dated 17 December 2024 which permitted the absorption.
