4186 dogs vaccinated. 92 villages covered. One united goal — Rabies-Free Kodai Hills.
With 24 catchers, 6 vaccinators, 6 data collectors, and a solid logistics & admin team, we braved terrain, rain & heat — from Pachalur to Poombarai, Vellagavi to Poondi — covering 15 village panchayats, 1 township, and Kodaikanal Municipality.
KSPCA in collaboration with Mission Rabies India, WVS , Kodaikanal Wildlife Sanctuary, Anamalai Tiger Reserve, Dindigul Forest Division, Dindigul District Administration, and Kodaikanal Municipality, with full support from Dr J Radhakrishnan IAS, Additional Chief Secretary.
