On 11th April at 2 PM, during the World Autism Awareness Day celebration held at Aster Medcity, a proud milestone was achieved by Rotary Cochin Central.

Rotary District 3205 officially recognized Rotary Cochin Central for its meaningful and sustained efforts in empowering children on the autism spectrum. This recognition stands as a testament to the club’s commitment to inclusive community service.

A key contributor to this achievement was our recent collaboration with Adarsh Charitable Trust, supported by a significant donation of ₹7 lakhs. These funds were raised through the successful conduct of the CIAL Open Golf Tournament, reflecting how fellowship and sport can come together to create tangible social impact.

This recognition inspires us to continue our journey of service, advocacy, and empowerment for neurodivergent communities.

Weekly Meeting Held at IMA Hall

Our weekly gathering at IMA Hall on Thursday, 2 April, unfolded into a warm and memorable Maundy Thursday evening.

The programme began with high tea at 6.30 pm, followed by the meeting at 7.00 pm. The highlight of the evening was a thoughtful closed-session discussion on “ഈസ്റ്റർ ഓര്‍മകള്‍”, which invited reflection and personal sharing in a respectful, intimate setting.

What stood out most was the depth of engagement. Conversations moved naturally from the theme into wider, relevant current topics, with members contributing perspectives that kept the discussion lively for nearly 50 minutes. The presence of DG GN Ramesh added further value to the exchange.

An evening marked by reflection, conversation, and camaraderie.
