Humanity for Animals A Tale of Two States, with one goal. Our street animals need to be cared for and we at HFA strive to give them as much of that as we can.

HUMANITY for ANIMALS is an Ernakulam based organization founded by Actor-Director Ranjini Haridas and Aishwarya Prem, both animal welfare activists from different cities who have come together to make 'active animal welfare' a reality in Ernakulam and the State of Kerala. We, with our animal loving friends whom we cannot function without, believe that all of Gods creations deserve the chance to a

happy, healthy, safe and protected life. HFA intensively works on rescue of injured, abused and neglected street animals. We also vaccinate, spay/neuter, re-home and rehabilitate animals that need our help. We believe that Humanity is not to be restricted only to human welfare. Animals deserve their share of humanity too and we dedicate ourselves to achieving that.

Sometimes, all it takes is one small act of kindness to change an entire life.

A few weeks ago, this tiny little pup — barely a month old — found her way to my mother’s house. Abandoned/orpahaned , vulnerable, and unsure of the world. But my mom chose compassion. She took her in, cared for her, loved her… and today, that same little girl is in a beautiful home, safe and happy.

This is the power of kindness.

Not everyone can adopt or foster — and that’s okay. But we can all do something. Feed them. Leave out water. Show them gentleness. Because animals simply reflect what we show them.
If you give them fear, they learn fear.
If you give them love, they become love.

It’s really that simple.

Here’s hoping more of us choose compassion, every single day. 🤍
