We are deeply grateful to renowned author Babu Abraham for dedicating the royalty from the first 50 editions of his acclaimed novel, Kambalikandathe Kalbharanikal, to Solace, in support of children living with long-term illnesses. and their families.

The royalty cheque was formally handed over to Mr. P. V. Surendranath, Treasurer of Solace. The event was attended by Dr. Divakaran, President of Solace; E. M. Divakaran, Vice President; Krishnan Nair, Solace Advisory Board Member; renowned writers Ashokan Charuvil and K. V. Ashtamoorthi; and Sheeja Basheer, Convener of Solace Thrissur, who also addressed the gathering.

We sincerely thank Mr. Babu Abraham for standing with our children and their families, and for helping us bring hope, care, and smiles to those facing the challenges of long-term illness.

A Proud Moment for Solace 💜

We are delighted to share that Sheeba Ameer, Founder & Secretary of Solace, has been honoured with the Women's Manifesto Award 2024 in recognition of her contributions to social service.

We were privileged to welcome Ms. Asma, representative of Women's Manifesto, to the Solace Thrissur office, where she formally handed over the award. The award was received on behalf of Sheeba Ameer by the Solace Trust members and volunteers.

KOODE 2026 was organized by Solace Youth Thrissur on 28th June 2026 at the Solace Thrissur Office, to honour and encourage the children of Solace who appeared for the SSLC and Plus Two Board Examinations.

KOODE is a flagship initiative of Solace Youth dedicated to appreciating and encouraging every child who appears for the 10th and Plus Two Board Examinations. At Solace, we believe that success is not measured only by marks, grades, or ranks. For children living with long-term illnesses and facing financial, emotional, and social challenges, having the courage to prepare for and appear for the examination itself is a remarkable achievement.

Through KOODE, we celebrate their determination, resilience, and never-give-up spirit. The programme serves as a reminder to every child that their efforts matter, their journey is valued, and they are never alone.

The success of KOODE 2026 was made possible by the unwavering dedication, passion, and hard work of the Solace Thrissur Youth volunteers. Their commitment to standing “Koode” (together) with our children transformed this initiative into a memorable celebration of hope, encouragement, and dreams.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our young achievers and our sincere gratitude to every volunteer, supporter, and well-wisher who made this programme a memorable celebration.

Solace Perinthalmanna - 8th Anniversary Celebration | Snehardramayi 2026

To Be Held on 18 July 2026 at Municipal Town Hall, Perinthalmanna

Solace Perinthalmanna proudly presents “Snehardramayi 2026,” a fund-raising and musical evening dedicated to supporting children with long-term illnesses and their families.

The programme will be held on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Municipal Town Hall, Perinthalmanna. The event will be inaugurated by renowned poet Shri. Alankode Leelakrishnan and presided over by Shri. E. M. Divakaran, Vice President of Solace. Shri. Najeeb Kanthapuram, MLA, Perinthalmanna, will attend as the Chief Guest. The programme will also feature messages from Dr. Mumtaz, Trust Member of Solace, while the welcome address will be delivered by Shri. Abbas Vakkayil, Convener, Solace Perinthalmanna.

The evening will conclude with a captivating musical performance by renowned artists Raasa and Indulekha Warrier, accompanied by the Caravan Musical Team.

All friends and well-wishers are warmly invited to join us for this special evening of compassion, music, and hope, and to become a part of Solace’s mission of care and support.

School Kit Distribution Successfully Conducted at Solace Centres

The Solace Centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad, and Perinthalmanna successfully organized the distribution of school kits.

This year, more than 450 children entering the new academic year received school kits through various Solace Centres.

Heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success, adding colour to the dreams of these children and strengthening their educational journey.

Solace Thiruvananthapuram successfully organized Snehasangamam 2026 at the Solace Home in Thiruvananthapuram. The gathering was held on Sunday, 17 May 2026, bringing together the beloved children and their parents to share their joys and strengthen bonds of togetherness.

The programme began with a prayer. Solace Convener Rajagopalan K.P. welcomed the gathering. The official function was presided over by Dr. Ajayan P.V., Professor, Department of ENT, Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Rajeevan K.R., Associate Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology, RCC Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr. Kusumakumari P., former Head and Additional Director of the Pediatric Oncology Department at RCC, extended her wishes to the children and families. Following this, Ashni Suresh, Social Worker, presented the activities of Solace, while Sumangalakumari expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the programme.

School kits for the children of Solace stepping into the next academic year were also distributed in the presence of distinguished guests. After the official session, various cultural programmes by the children and their families added joy and smiles to the gathering.

The event concluded with a special dinner, lovingly prepared at Solace Home, served to all the participants.
